Aloha!

Greetings from sunny Southern California! My name is Lenore and I am now being updated into the modern age in terms of personal and professional expression.   In pursuit of my chosen profession as an educator, I am an Adjunct Online Teaching Associate.  I  also work in Instititutional Research, Planning and Grants at MiraCosta College. My duties range from being the Institutional Research Department secretary to being a Research Assistant and Grants Assistant. I compile loads of data for all of our planning processes and work with student services to help ensure student satisfaction. I have been an Adjunct Teaching Associate for Ashford University for over a year now, and once I have a bit more teaching experience under my belt, I will work in a faculty capacity. I have two Master’s degrees, one in English and the other in Teaching. I am currently in the process of creating a creative writing workshop series for my local community education provider.

As of a few months ago, I was coaching high school girls water polo and swimming, but decided to step down to finish on my education, assist other students in reaching their educational goals, and focus on my health. As much as I love teenage children, I did need to take some time off. I also compete in master’s water polo, swimming and outrigging. In my spare time, I relax in the company of my husband and our pets. We have one African Grey parrot named Buddy, a male chocolate lab called Kodiak, and Kodiak’s daughter, River.

Please feel free to introduce yourself – I’m always interested to know about my readers!
